Founder – Helping Hands Ceylon

I believe every human deserves dignity, a voice, and a chance to thrive. Through Helping Hands Ceylon, I aim to be a bridge between compassion and action.

This journey began with a simple yet powerful desire: to respond to the silent struggles of those often overlooked. Helping Hands Ceylon grew from that calling-a small initiative born from faith and fueled by purpose-into a recognized organization dedicated to community upliftment across Sri Lanka.

With over a decade of experience in project coordination and humanitarian development, I’ve worked across diverse cultures, always with the goal of delivering sustainable change. From supporting over 500 families with food and essentials, to mentoring rural students, every small step has been a shared victory-not mine alone, but one built with volunteers, donors, and the communities themselves.

Of course, the road has not been without its challenges. There were moments of uncertainty-when donors pulled out or when communities were hard to reach. But those became lessons in resilience, resourcefulness, and unwavering faith.

My educational foundation in Social Science, ICT, and Counseling, and my years of hands-on experience, have allowed me to approach each project with both structure and empathy. But more than that, faith has been my compass-guiding me to serve with love, patience, and purpose. I believe when we give from the heart, miracles follow.

If you believe in a kinder world, you’re already part of this journey. Let’s keep extending hands together.

I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord.
