The exhaustion of countless sleepless nights, the mental and physical strain carried for days, the unexpected blessings that came at the right moments, and the courage that refused to step back in the face of obstacles… all of these came together in this outreach initiative carried out at a small rural school located deep inside Anuradhapura.
From the moment we received the request letter and began researching the situation, we realized there were far too many painful realities in the lives of these children to simply ignore.
We witnessed it with our own eyes.
And because of that, walking away without doing something for them was never an option for us.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Venerable Dhammamitta Thero, who stood beside this project from the very beginning until its successful completion, making an immeasurable contribution that words alone cannot fully describe.
Our sincere thanks also go to Venerable Kusalandhamma Thero, who, despite receiving only a very short notice, travelled from Nittambuwa to Kandy at 2 a.m. to be part of and strengthen this initiative.
